I created visual content to add to my content in order to improve its readability as well as cater to the assignment instructions. I added logos that represent my brand to connect the brand to the content I have created. Additionally, I created an image that compares a 3D design to the finalized print to give readers a better idea of what my business creates.

I took my subheads and changed how they were written with word choice as well as font size and position in order to adhere to both the F-Pattern and Plain English writing. In order to better distinguish sections of my content I decided to enlarge and center my text as this is a bigger improvement in readability and formatting.

I made my content clearer and concise by going through it and challenging each word I used in order to possibly remove it to shorten my content without losing its impact. We know from class content that we must clean up our content by removing words that do not have a good reason to belong (Briscoe, Plain Language Writing (W25).pdf, Slide 70).

I removed one section of my content as it was too long and not necessary for my introduction. I moved around this section to be combined with other pieces of content to help spread my intended message in the shortest number of sentences possible.

I changed one of my sections entirely to fit more with the main idea of my content of an introduction by giving a brief intro into what 3D printing is and how it works. I did this as I can describe what my company does, but users may not have the best understanding of how we do things, and this information can be critical as we have mentioned in our class lectures (Briscoe, Lecture, February 26, 2025).

I added the right amount of bolded text to my introduction without seeming too obnoxious when readers are reading. I made sure to bold only relevant information and keywords that I want readers to see as this improves readability and helps reading speed.
